Hi guys, i have recently returned to the Divine Divinity game. I downloaded the GOG's version 1.61A. I have tried the item's editor and it turned out that it did not work. I have confirmed this by changing the stats of the items that are currently in my inventory now. Are the editors working right with the current version of DD? Any advice and help is much appreciated.

They should be working with the latest download version; I've used them on new saves started in 1.0062. Did you double check you were editing an item in your inventory (sometimes there can be more than one item listed with the same name and stats), and reload the save in the game when you were done editing?nicholaslow902

The only change in 1.0062 was a fix for the music bug, which shouldn't effect the item editor at all. Photo Editor For Mac

Do you mean the weapon didn't show up in the list to edit in the first place, or your saved changes didn't show up when you reloading the save? Did you try unequipping the weapon, if applicable, and putting it in your inventory before saving and trying to edit it?nicholaslow902

I can try an edit / load / save / re-edit / load, but I'm pretty sure I've done that before. There are likely are some kind of limits, but I've put a +1000 sight bonus on a ring, and +200 damage on a weapon, etc. EDIT: Yes, I can re-edit an item, either in the original save or in a new save.

Bows and crossbows may not get listed in 'ranged weapons', but should show up in 'all' (though may not load properly {ie damage listed as 0}, and trying to save a change could crash the editor). You can try the Divine Divinity Item Editor, though it isn't as full featured as DAD's item editor. I don't think it lists bows at all.
There is some stuff on manual hex editing in the topic please help with my blind hero.
