Citra Pokemon Editor For Mac

Citra is a Nintendo 3DS emulator for Mac that can run commercial games at 100% of their speed, in addition to adding a series of characteristics to improve their visuals above and beyond the modest resolution of Nintendo handheld consoles. Citra is an open-source emulator for the 3DS which claims to be able to play many of your favorite games. Like other emulators for systems with 3D graphics, Citra can upscale games, which means it can make games look better than on the real thing.

Citra Pokemon Editor For Mac

If you keep track of this thread you can be up to speed on recent developments. Most recent builds fix the intro audio stuttering with the intro video and in the game, and the upscaling issue with Pokemon models. Yet to see any methods for the bloom ghosting or screen transition stutters / audio cuts.

Also works for Ultra Sun/Moon & should provide a substantial boost in other games.

1.) Download the 5.9.1 VS2017 Generic build in the link below, extract it wherever you want.

2.) Download, I assume, any of the 5.9.2 builds in the link below, then take the SDL2.dll

3.) Place the SDL2.dll into the 5.9.1 VS2017 build. Boom, done.

  • You can find Sickc's builds here that I used, these are what were shared to GBATemp:

Extra Tip: Go to Citra > User > Config > qt-config.ini

Alternatively, edit your existing Citra build configuration within your %appdata%Citraconfigqt-config.ini

Find [Miscellaneous] and make sure it's set to log_filter=:Critical*

This prevents the CMD Window for Citra to be spammed with errors, which cause in-game lag.

Prevalent issues: Glitchiness from entering or exiting buildings, battles, menus because the shaders that handle fading transitions between screens aren't supported by Citra. Then there's the bloom-like color banding in the overworld, let me know if there's a fix.
